Urban Exploration in An Abandoned Brick Building

Brick buildings are magical and there is something special about them. They create a unique atmosphere and make you want to visit them. There is a lot of industrial brick buildings, like abandoned factories or power plants. Visiting them, we are impressed by their architecture. Actually, we are brick-buildings-lovers. Abandoned brick buildings, of course. 🙂  But once upon a time, we met a brick building different than all others. It was not only astonishing but also creepy. We admired this place, but we shivered. A majestic red palace with a tower and a black, damaged roof has changed our lives.

Entrance there was easy, so we expected a pretty nice urbex. But we couldn’t believe our eyes. We saw satanic symbols painted on the walls and the floor. Reversed crosses, pentagram, even candles… Who left it? Did they celebrate a black mass here? Did they kill anyone? Maybe it’s better not to know. But we were exploring this place anyway. We were both scared and curious. We would like to have a lot of pictures from this abandoned building, but we were afraid of meeting someone. We made a research about this place and we found out that this place is called  “a satanic palace”. Luckily no one heard about the murders in this place. Maybe you can find there elements of a satanic cult, but this place seems to be safe anyway. Ok, but what exactly was that? What had been here before the building started to be abandoned?

Abandoned Railway Hospital

The building was erected in 1904 and it was a railway hospital. What is a railway hospital? Actually, it’s not a place where the sick trains are cured 🙂 It was a hospital for railway workshop employees.  In 1915 the workshops were closed, and the hospital was no longer needed. The building had been abandoned until 1919. Then Maria SkÅ‚odowska-Curie school was opened there.The building survived II World War because nazi Germans took this place and made here a boarding school for the German children. After the war, Poles opened here the school again and it operated until 1974.

The building was abandoned for some time.  Later a hostel called “Tramp” opened there, and it was mainly visited by guests from beyond the eastern border. It worked until the late ’90s. Nobody knows what happened there later. The building is still abandoned and it’s a place for satanic worship.

We like abandoned hospitals, but this one was different than the others. We expected here rusty hospital devices, but we didn’t find them. Despite this, we are not disappointed. It’s a great abandoned place with a unique atmosphere. We were a little bit scared, but we survived, and we took amazing photos there. And now, we would like to share these pictures with you.
