The building was erected in 1904 and it was a railway hospital. What is a railway hospital? Actually, it’s not a place where the sick trains are cured 🙂 It was a hospital for railway workshop employees. In 1915 the workshops were closed, and the hospital was no longer needed. The building had been abandoned until 1919. Then Maria SkÅ‚odowska-Curie school was opened there. The building survived II World War because nazi Germans took this place and made here a boarding school for the German children. After the war, Poles opened here the school again and it operated until 1974.
The building was abandoned for some time. Later a hostel called “Tramp” opened there, and it was mainly visited by guests from beyond the eastern border. It worked until the late ’90s. Nobody knows what happened there later. The building is still abandoned and it’s a place for satanic worship.
