The strawberry wasn’t always on the lawn next to the road. Once upon a a time, the strawberry stood with pride and dignity and was a symbol of a dynamically developing farm called Sadpol. It was a 700-hectares field, full of strawberries of course. Thousands of kilograms of strawberries were grown there annually. The owner used innovative irrigation systems there. The farm was a workplace for many local people. The fruit was sold not only in Poland but also a broad. It could have been the most powerful strawberry farm all over the world. Unfortunately, humans’ laziness killed this beautiful dream. The owner had problems with employees finding. He paid very well, but the people didn’t want to work for him. It’s hard to say what was the reason, but we guess he was a good employer. Sadly, he had to close the strawberry field. The symbol of this farm lies now by the road and reminds people about its golden days.
